Seller's Description:
Near Fine in Very Good jacket. Book. Signed by Author(s) Inscribed, "For Titi" and signed by Ricard Serra across the enitre half-title page. Near Fine in a Very Good Minus dust jacket. Faint toning to page margins. Jacket is a little crimped along top edge, plus has a short fingernail tear at the gutter behind the spine. Rather interesting provenance on this book. Purchased from her estate, the previous owner was Cecil Blaffer "Titi" von Furstenberg. She was something of "Texas royalty", as her parents were Robert Lee Blaffer, one of the founders of Humble Oil (now Exxon), and Sarah Campbell, whose father was one of the founders of the Texas Co. (now Texaco). She later became a princess by virtue of her marriage in 1975 to Prince Tassilo von Furstenberg of Austria. The nuptials in Paris were attended by Princess Grace, and in a nod to her Texas heritage, the bride reportedly wore boots beneath her wedding dress.
