Allan Fea?s autobiography, Recollections of Sixty Years, details his life as an amateur illustrator, banker, antiquarian and author from 1860 to approximately 1920. In it, he reminisces upon the changes occurring in post-Victorian England, resulting in the loss of historical British environs. While written in a slightly rambling style, of special interest to art aficionados is Mr. Fea?s close friendship with classical artist John Seymour Lucas. As a result, Mr. Fea also provides a biographical sketch of the artist and his works.
