As usual Davidson has created a wonderfully described and magical world around her central characters. This is a book of three short stores centred around one family and their desire to each find a woman/parter/wife who will compliment/excite them and not merely someone that they are expected to marry. The 3 princes in question find ou that it is always a case of carefull what you wish for as the women they encounter tend to be more of a handfull than they first thought. Although it all works out in the end as all good romances (or any other good story) should the fun is in getting to htat happy ending. Davidson is cgreat as usual creating a funny, sensual, weird and universal story that just happens to be broken into 3 parts. you could read just one of these sorhorts and not need the other three but I suggest reading them all one after the other.
