I bought it because it contained a "Dark Hunter" story by Sherrylin Kennyon. I also enjoyed the other authors stories as well. Anthologies are a great way to sample other authors works without the book being a total loss if you don't like one or two of them. I hate paying the price for a book from a new author when I am not familiar with their style of writing and story lines. A few duds can add up quickly for an expensive and unsatisfying experience.
Maggie Shayne is good too. I have bought several of her books since getting this one.
Also I don't hesitate to grab anthologies with the other authors names listed on them.

again shelley kenyon exeeds and she takes the other authors along with her sucess. it is gripping in places andvery intriguing in others a vedfy good read

Wow! Not Bad
I wasn't sure about this one either until I started it.
Darkfest by Amanda Ashley was intense and enjoyable.
Phantom Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon was also intense, but it was dramatic too. I love Ms. Kenyon's writing.
Under Her Spell by Maggie Shayne was good. I like Ms. Shayne's writing as well, and her heroine was good.
A Wulf's Curse by Ronda Thompson was good. I decided that I had to see if her books were as good as this story so I checked out the other three Wulf books. They were dramatic (which isn't bad) but I found that they all had pretty my the same story just different character's.
All in all, this is a good book and was worth it to me.
