Eine bedeutende Verwirrung wurde dadurch hervorgerufen, dass Harms in seinem Atlas unter dem gemeinsamen Namen Molluscum neben dem erw???hnten Molluscum (pendulum) noch ein tote casio differeutes, bis dahin unbekanntes Gebilde als Molluscum contagiosum beschreibt und ab bildet. Von den splteren Autoren wurden beide Uebel meist 'zusammen geworfen und verwechselt, bis durch Vmonow beide scharf getrennt und mit differeuten Namen, n???mlich Fibroma molluscum und Epithelioma molluscum belegt wurden.
