Having read John Masters autobiography through WWII(2 books) and enjoying them, sadly I expected the last part to be as entertaining. It was not.
This book should be condensed to no more than 250 pages without literary loss. (it is 483 pages presently}. There were interesting sections, more often disinteresting sections. Had I kept a diary for 14 yrs and scibbed a book based on it, you get the idea.
Mr. Masters was an interesting man with a wonderful series of stories., they just ramble without conclusion.
