This book was banned to the garage. Several members of my family read it and could not keep it in the house. I wasn't scared of the book, but alot of people I met where. Its rather slow paced, but the overwhelming sense of dread more than makes up for that flaw. The book more teases that something bad is going to happen than actually showing it. I prefer more action in a horror tale.
