I started reading this book not realizing that it was Dean Koontz as the book was originally published under the pseudonym Owen West. The book is a novelization of the 1981 movie by the same name. Koontz took a slasher movie that I did not really care for and turned it into a book that I could not put down. It is not his best book, but it is one of my favorites by him.

Not a book that I would read again. I have read a lot of Dean Koontz and can only think of one of his books that I liked less.
