This is not the only way to investigate or report, but it is a way that I have used for years that seems to work well. I have developed some methods of doing things based on the training and interaction that I have had with other investigators. Some I have taken more from than others but they all had an influence in some way. I have also seen investigators go out there that have just watched television programs and decided they know what they are doing. Hopefully you will not be a part of the latter.
