II. or shall come to your hands for the use and service of a war against the French King, you pay unto our trusty and welheloved Ralph Montagu, Esqr, Master of our great Wardrohe, or whom he shall appoint, the sum of one thousand six hundred and thirty-eight pounds fourteen shillings and eightpence farthing, to he paid to the several persons, and in the respective proportions within mentioned, for the particulars and work within expressed, for the use and service of a war against the French King, according to the within accompt thereof, under the hand of Rohert Nott, Esqr, Deputy to the Master of our said great Wardrohe, in full discharge of the said accompt. And for so doing, this our warrant, together with the acquittance of the said Ralph Montagu, or his assign, confessingthe receipt thereof, shall he your discharge. Given at our Court at Whitehall, the 28"'day of July, 1678. By his Majesty's command, J. Williamson. To our trusty and welheloved servant, Lemuel Kingdon, Esq'. 74. Eightscore of arms in the usual proportion of pikes and musketts, with collars of handeleers to the musketts, to he delivered in the room of the like numher, taken hy the drafted men from the Coldstream to Flanders.
