McCoy Pottery of 1848, a detailed discussion of McCoy manufacturing techniques, and an examination of the firm's numerous manufacturer's marks. Also included in this volume are a bibliography, an appendix chronicling the many cookie jars produced by the company over the years, and an index. Good review of McCoy products. Does not give much history of the process of making McCoy products and illustrations of this aspect are inexplicably shown as untrimmed photographs of photographs on stands or in scrapbooks. Illustrations of the McCoy pottery are good, and production dates are good. Pretty book, but lacks depth of history.
