Das Wissen um die Bed???rfnisse des Kunden gilt als Basis erfolgreichen Marketings, insbesondere profitabler Distributions- und Kontrahierungspolitik. Die Kunden zeigen jedoch ein immer hybrideres Kaufverhalten. Die Zahl jener, die sich aus dem breiten Angebot, je nach Bedarf und Risikoeinsch???tzung, preissensibel verschiedenen Anbietern zuwenden, steigt. Die traditionellen Universalbanken mussten schmerzvoll feststellen, dass Verm???gende nicht nur bei Aldi einkaufen, sondern auch standardisierte Bankdienstleistungen wie Online-Brokerage oder Tagesgeldkonten von g???nstigeren Konkurrenten in Anspruch nahmen und kontinuierlich Zweit- und Drittbankverbindungen aufbauten. Manager der Universalbanken stehen vor der Herausforderung, Kundenloyalit???t und -zufriedenheit zu generieren. Kundenorientierung setzt voraus, dass Banken ihre Kunden und deren spezifische Bed???rfnisse kennen. Da sich die Masse jedoch in ihren Bed???rfnissen mannigfaltig unterscheidet, ist eine genaue Kunden- und Zielgruppen-Orientierung der wichtigste strategische Erfolgsfaktor von Finanzdienstleistern.
