Seller's Description:
Good. No dust jacket. . This biography reprints much of Paynes poetry. In addition it includes an engraved frontispiece portrait based on a photo by Matthew Brady, a foldout facsimile of a letter written by the actor Edmund Kean praising Payne, a list of Payne's dramatic works, and an index. The brown binding decorated with gilt lettering is worn on the edges. There are water stains on the frontispiece and first and last pages, but overall this is a solid, clean book.
