Reasonably well recorded, this captures Bechet in solid form, blowing nicely on such set staples as "Muskrat Ramble," "High Society," "I Got Rhythm," "Dippermouth Blues," and "Summertime," although he wanders off-mike badly on "I Got Rhythm."
