Chef Julia Child was a Tour de Force
Apologies, tho' took umbrage @ "Tien"'s comment,"...crepes on an upside down omelette pan was one of the dumbest ideas"...Chef J.Child exhausted Herself w/Facts and making primarily French Cuisine as available to Americans as possible. Did One know,After reading about Asbetose in the late 1950's~early 1960's,Chef revised 2nd. "Mastering The Art of French Cooking". {Due to the Cancer related properties of the substance}. Literally,"cutting edge" knowledge for Baking Breads. A bit o' the Scientist in Her Dear Soul. I miss Chef Julia's wit. However,a no bones approach and unflinching Honesty.
