Like New. Size: 8vo-over 7¾"-9¾" tall; Flat-signed by Smith on first page in black ink, appears unread, tight clean unmarked, 2006 Montana book of the year, 2nd print.
This is an amazing, easily-read, book on the wolves of Yellowstone National Park and on the park itself. The book is full of fascinating information and stories on individual wolves. The author, Douglas Smith, doesn't just give biological notes on wolves but discusses the ecological system of the park and asks questions of how it fits into today's world. If you are planning a trip to Yellowstone National Park, this book is a must read. I've read it twice and plan on reading it again this spring before I go for yet another trip to the park. Don't go to the park without this book.
