En este libro de resultados de investigaci???n se presenta una evaluaci???n de la contaminaci???n por metales pesados en los sedimentos superficiales de dos zonas del corredor vial Soacha-Bogot??? D.C. (Colombia). Los elementos met???licos evaluados durante el per???odo de investigaci???n fueron los siguientes: Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, As, Cd, Ba y Pb. Los resultados muestran que las concentraciones detectadas dan evidencia de contaminaci???n por Pb y Zn. Estos metales exceden los l???mites establecidos por la normatividad internacional utilizada como de referencia: (i) espa???ola, (ii) turca e (iii) italiana a nivel de Europa; y (i) venezolana y (ii) chilena a nivel sudamericano. Adicionalmente, se evidencia que Pb y Zn exceden las normas sudamericanas durante el 60,5 y 53,5% de las veces durante el per???odo de investigaci???n, respectivamente.
