Se ha postulado que el c???ncer de p???ncreas podr???a estar relacionado con el metabolismo de los folatos y la angiog???nesis; el gen de la Timidilato Sintasa (TS) controla el metabolismo de los folatos y la s???ntesis de ADN; el gen del Factor Inducible por Hipoxia (HIF-1 ) regula la respuesta celular a la hipoxia. Los objetivos de este trabajo son analizar las distribuciones genot???picas de los polimorfismos de TS y HIF-1 en pacientes diagnosticados de c???ncer de p???ncreas y compararlas con las de un grupo de voluntarios sanos representando a la poblaci???n general, estudiar la asociaci???n entre polimorfismos y variables cl???nico-patol???gicas en los pacientes con c???ncer de p???ncreas, y determinar la relaci???n de los polimorfismos con la supervivencia.
