This is a wonderful book for vegetarian and meat eaters alike (for side dishes.). There are recipe equivalents for all the packaged foods you find in the grocery store, even one for Rice a Roni but without all the additives. It uses whole wheat instead of white flour whenever flour is indicated. There are also master mixes that helps with shortcuts when you are busy. Every recipe I have tried so far has been excellent, unlike some other books I have tried. This is an excellent source for adding more fiber to your diet without it tasting heavy.
