This is a Fine copy of the First Edition (stated). Tan paper boards with black cloth spine, gilt lettering. Clean and fresh text. The dustjacket is unclipped, with some minor edgewear and a small chip at the top corner of the spine. In an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo-over 7¾"-9¾" tall.

Very Good in Very Good jacket. This 1978 Harper and Row 1st addition is in VG/VG condition. The HB is very clean and unmarked. The DJ is price clipped and has slight wear along the edges and one tiny tear on the upper right front. There is a very small amount of lost gilt on the front and back cover. This book was made into the 1980 film, starring William Hurt and Blair Brown and directed by Ken Russell. Brenbooks specializes in first edition books that have been made into movies.
