Set in Nashville, Tenessee at the Belmont Mansion soon after the Civil war, this story is about Clair Laurent, a woman who grew up forging works of art for her father to sell. She leaves New Orleans to start over in Nashvlle, and becomes the personal liaison to the mistress of the Belmont mansion. She falls for Sutton Monroe, the attorney who works at the estate but fears her secret past will be discovered and destroy everything. It was a great look at life in that time period and an insight into the art world. The spiritual lessons about the motivation for our artwork and creating for an audience of One made me think. A good job, as usual from Mrs. Alexander.

Really like this author's writing
Another good story by Tamera, 1st of a series I believe. They are Christian books, keep you interested and about a subject that you probably don't know about, so it ends up as a learning experience as well as a good story.
