We've all felt the increase in consumer prices impacting everyday
items such as food and fuel. While the US Post Office is still the
most economical way to ship books, the postal rate increase scheduled
for July 10th will pass some of the increased costs onto shippers, and
ultimatley anyone purchasing books online. If you have been thinking
of purchasing a few books, now is a great time to buy ahead of the
upcoming rate increase.
We have endavored to keep costs low given the books in my late
father's collection were acquired some time ago, but the costs for
packaging and incidentals also increase over time and may need to be
reflected in minimum costs at some point. In any event, used books
represent a great value over new books especially given they can be
reused or donated over and over again. Hopefully topping up on value
books leaves you enough to top up your tank while still providing
great entertainment.
