I suppose these questions stormcloud over every marriage: What are you thinking? How are you feeling? Who are you? What have we done to each other? What will we do?' Just how well can you ever know the person you love? This is the question that Nick Dunne must ask himself on the morning of his fifth wedding anniversary when his wife Amy suddenly disappears. Every bit as good as the reviews indicated. I wanted to read it before I saw the movie and I'm glad I did.

Great Book!
I decided to read this book before the impending release of the Ben Affleck movie. I doubt that the movie will be able to live up to this masterpiece. The book is extremely well written and a real page-turner. I recommend this to anyone who loves a good mystery / character drama type of scenario.

Gone Girl
I normally do not care for fiction, however, this is the most recent selection of my book club. This was a great book! The author makes you love some characters and want to kill others! That is some talented writing! Loved the book!

Wild ride....no resolution
I read this for my book group.....as with most books, some liked it, some didn't so much, some loved it. Though there were readers who were "troubled" by some of the language in it, Gone Girl was a great story, nice pacing and I even thought the end was apropos, though some in my group felt cheated by the end. I think it got some of us wondering what this relationship looked like 10 years down the road! I'd recommend it, I really liked it and it was different from many of the books we read in our group! Have fun with it......you won't be able to stop thinking about it!
