Very good in fine dust jacket. Signed by author. 464 p. Audience: General/trade. Large oversized hardcover in illustrated dust jacket, signed and inscribed by Martha Graham on the half title page. Full turquoise cloth with gilt signature to upper cover and gilt spine titles. Nearly full page warm inscription by Graham to "Nancy" (perhaps Nancy Wilson Ross that wrote the introduction) on the half title page. In full: "Very dear Nancy--because of whom there would so much beauty and excitement in life--Love Martha". No other markings, some minor soiling to top margin of last couple pages from previous paperclip, a couple small soiled spots to outer page edges. Unclipped dust jacket shows the original price of $25, minor edgewear. One of the most sought after and extensive works on Graham, rare signed.
