Yan Zhang

Dr. Yan Zhang obtained her bachelor and Ph.D. degree in Chemistry Engineering and Technology from Tianjin University of Technology in 2000 and Zhejiang University in 2006. Dr. Yan Zhang obtained her bachelor and Ph.D. degree in Chemistry Engineering and Technology from Tianjin University of Technology in 2000 and Zhejiang University in 2006. Since 2007, she worked as Teacher at NingboTech University (which was called as Ningbo Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University), China. Her research focuses on synthesis of flame retardants derived from biomass or waste polymers for multifunctional polymeric materials. She has published more than 50 publications (citation 962, H index = 19, Google Scholar) in the peer-reviewed prestigious international journals such as ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, Polymer, Polymer Degradation and Stability, etc. She was granted 15 invention patents. As a Professor in polymer science, she has undertaken over 10 research projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province, China.
