Yan Yu
Originally from China's Heilongjiang Province, Yan Yu graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2009 with a MFA, specializing in playwriting. Her play Pretense , a taut drama about an intense romance spanning Shanghai and Hong Kong, won a commission from the 2011 Hong Kong Arts Festival.
