William L Casey
Casey has over 36 years experience in aerospace optical systems, of which 32 have been on space related programs. He invented and built a Viewfinder Tracking System for Earth Resources used by three crews on Skylab and was the responsible engineer for the Space Shuttle Star Trackers. He holds a patent for and built the first wavelength combined multiple diode laser used as a laser communications source. He graduated Cum Laude in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA.
