WILLIAM BONNEZ is Associate Professor of Medicine, University of Rochester; Attending Physician, Strong Memorial Hospital; and Attending Physician, Highland Hospital, Rochester, New York, USA. Dr. Bonnez received his M.D. from the Universite de Bordeaux II (now called Universite Victor Segalen Bordeaux II), Bordeaux, France. As one of the discoverers of the groundbreaking HPV vaccines, his contributions to the field of infectious disease are truly immeasurable. Dr. Bonnez is a member and fellow of several professional societies, including the American College of Physicians, the Infectious Disease Society of America, and the American Society for Virology.
