Wilfried Endlicher

Winfried Endlicher was born 1947 in Heidenheim an der Brenz (Germany). He studied geography, meteorology, remote sensing and romance languages at the Universities of Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany) and Grenoble (France) between 1969 and 1975. He obtained his Ph.D. in 1979 at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau. He was Professor of Geoecology at the University of Marburg (Germany) between 1988 and 1998 and is now Professor of Climatology and Atmospheric Environmental Research at the Humboldt-Universitat zu Berlin.
