Walter Scott Collins first started taking photographs at the age of 12 in Hartford, Connecticut. His first opportunity to teach photography came in 1954 while a freshman in high school. By age 15 he was intrigued by the way the camera could be used as an instrument of artistic expression. He has spent his lifetime perfecting the craft of Creative Photography and has developed a hands on method of teaching it.
