Vladimir Hernandez (Havana, 1966). He studied engineering and physics, but has devoted his entire career to writing. He published his first book, Nova de cuarzo , in 1999, and his first anthology, Horizontes probables in Mexico that same year. In 2000, after being nominated to the UPC award in the fantasy genre, he traveled to Spain and decided to move to Barcelona.
