He did his Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guru Ghasidas University (Central University), Bilaspur (CG). He completed his graduate and a postgraduate degree from DOPS, Dr. H. S. Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar, (MP). He has industrial and academic experience in various posts. His research area includes computer-aided drug design and synthesis of various small molecule inhibitors.
