Viktoriia Peterson was born and raised in Ukraine and has resided in Sundance, Wyoming, with her husband since May, 2014. In December, 2016, she enrolled in English as a Second Language courses with Eastern Wyoming College Adult Education program at the Sundance Outreach Center. Viktoriia Peterson was born and raised in Ukraine and has resided in Sundance, Wyoming, with her husband since May, 2014. In December, 2016, she enrolled in English as a Second Language courses with Eastern Wyoming College Adult Education program at the Sundance Outreach Center. She is proud to have become a U.S. Citizen in September, 2018! Viktoriia has published several children's books during her five years in the USA: Lisa and the Bears, A Devil's Tower Secret, and Eagle Feather. The subjects of her children's books are National Parks, children, and animals. She says that when she visits National Parks, as well as walking and camping in the woods, new ideas for writing books always come to her. Viktoriia wants her books for children to show kindness, mutual understanding, friendliness, and respect for the opinions of other people. Viktoriia has developed a new winter hobby-making snow sculptures with her husband in their yard and in the forest. She also likes to paint pictures and illustrate books, as well as making jewelry with natural stones. In the summer, the Petersons enjoy camping, traveling, and gardening. Recently, Viktoriia began a new project of building a park on their property. She can't live a day without being creative! See less
