Shulamith Lala Ashenberg Straussner, PhD, MSW, is full Professor and Director of the Post-Master's Certificate Program in the Clinical Approaches to Addictions at NYU Silver School of Social Work. She is the Founding Editor of the Journal of Social Work Practice in the Addictions and author/editor of 20 books and numerous book chapters and peer reviewed articles.
