Veronica Jamset taught music to young people aged between four and 18 years, in primary and secondary schools, selective and nonselective, in both the state and private sectors in the West Midlands, before taking up her first post in Higher Education as a teacher trainer. She worked in two colleges in Birmingham and then moved to St Mary's College at Strawberry Hill in Twickenham, where she became principal lecturer in music and director of in-service and continuing education. She also has considerable experience in adult education. She has been an examiner at various levels since 1990 and, until 2000, was chief examiner for OCR's AS/A2 level syllabuses.
