Vera Arita

Vera Arita, born and raised in Waipahu on the Island of Oahu, received a Bachelors and Masters degree in education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She has been a special education teacher for over twenty years and is currently teaching at Mililani Ike Elementary. She and her husband, Neal, have two sons, Grant and Steven. This is Arita's first children's book.
