Her main research interests are translation and linguistic varieties, critical discourse analysis, gender studies and multimodal critical discourse analysis. She has worked on Andrea Camilleri's detective novels, The Simpsons' Italian dubbing, and, more recently, characterisation and linguistic profiling in audio-visual texts such as TV series.
