Troels Engberg-Pedersen was educated in classics and philosophy and has spent his life as a professor of New Testament at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He has written monographs on Aristotle's ethics, Stoic ethics, Stoicism and Paul, and Stoicism and the Gospel of John, but a main focus has been Paul.
