Tim Rudowsky moved to China in 2004 to begin studying Chinese language, Taiji, and Chinese medicine. Tim Rudowsky moved to China in 2004 to begin studying Chinese language, Taiji, and Chinese medicine. After three years in China, Tim returned to the US to formally complete his medical training at the National College of Natural Medicine. There he received his Master of Science in Oriental Medicine after completing his thesis "Shanghan lun Herbal Repertory: Exploring the Roots of Traditional Chinese Herbalism." During his time in Oregon, Tim intensely studied Chinese herbalism under the tutelage of Drs. Arnaud Versluys, Rihui Long, Yaron Seidman, and Heiner Fruehauf. The contents of this text reflect the fruits of this training. Tim has since founded the Green Tea Apothecary (www.CookMyHerbs.com) to promote the reintroduction of classical principles and methods into the practice of modern Oriental herbalism in America.
