Tim Hauf has traveled to many corners of the world with his camera with a desire to create a better understanding and appreciation of the world around us through photography. The Himalayas have a special appeal to Tim, having returned three times since his initial visit and trek to Everest Base Camp This is his second book on the Himalayas, the first one "Solu-Khumbu: The Trek to Everest: was published in 2002. He is currently working on a book about Eco-Tourism in distant lands.
