Tim Gillespie has taught both middle and elementary school students and is currently teaching high school English and interdisciplinary studies in Lake Oswego, Oregon. He is past president of the Oregon Council of Teachers of English and has served as co-director of the Oregon Writing Project at Lewis & Clark College. A regular contributor to professional journals and books, he is also a published poet and fiction writer.
