Tim D. Smith received his B.S. in English from Tennessee Wesleyan College in 2000 and his M.A. in Creative Writing from Wilkes University in 2012. He has written thirteen books, the last of which is The Ghosts of Sand Island Lighthouse. In 2018 Smith moved from Tennessee with his wife Jamie and son Miles to Gulf Shores, Alabama where he teaches English at Gulf Shores High School. His wife teaches kindergarten and his son is in fourth grade. He loves to fish in the Gulf and, of course, discover lighthouses and other spooky things. See less
