Thomas Yeates is an award-winning comic book illustrator who has worked for most of the major comic publishers and was one of the first graduates of the prestigious Joe Kubert School. He is best known for illustrating The Saga of the Swamp Thing for DC early in his career. Thomas Yeates is an award-winning comic book illustrator who has worked for most of the major comic publishers and was one of the first graduates of the prestigious Joe Kubert School. He is best known for illustrating The Saga of the Swamp Thing for DC early in his career. This was followed by Timespirits, Dungeons and Dragons graphic novels, Tarzan, Zorro, and Universe X specials for Marvel. Later he illustrated lots of legends and mythology, collaborated with Sergio Aragones on Groo vs. Conan and Groo Meets Tarzan, and drew Louis L'Amour's Law of the Desert Born graphic novel. He has also landed two dream jobs, illustrating Edgar Rice Burroughs' first three John Carter novels and his current work illustrating Hal Foster's Prince Valiant Sunday newspaper strip.
