Theodor Schwenk
Theodor Schwenk (1910-1986) was a German fluid-mechanical engineer. He cofounded the Institute for Flow Sciences in southern Germany in 1960, developing there an image-generating method of resting water--the Drop Picture method--in order to show the more subtle water qualities as a flow picture. His classic text on water phenomena, Sensitive Chaos , has been in constant demand since it was first published inn English in 1965.
