A frequent contributor to newspapers and magazines, Glavin is the recipient of numerous regional and national journalism awards. He is currently an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia's fine arts department, and he serves as an adviser to the Sierra Club of Canada's B.C. chapter. He lives on Mayne Island, in B.C.'s southern Gulf Islands. See less
