Teng Ma, born in 1972, is the Professor and Dean of the School of Environment Studies, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan, PRC). Teng Ma, born in 1972, is the Professor and Dean of the School of Environment Studies, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan, PRC). Teng Ma was awarded by the New Century Excellent Talents Program of the Ministry of Education (2007) and Scientific Leading Talents of Ministry of Natural Resources (2018), of the PRC. Teng Ma mainly engaged in the education and researches related to groundwater contamination and pollution control, groundwater and environmental changes. Teng Ma is currently the editor of the Journal of Earth Sciences, Earth Science, and Hydrogeology Engineering Geology. Teng Ma is also a core member of the "Groundwater and Environment" national teaching team and the "Environmental Hydrogeology" National Innovation Research Group. In the last five years, Teng Ma has conducted several projects including three funds from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (including one key project), the Geological Survey Project of China Geological Survey, the National High Technology Research and Development Project (863), National Key Basic Research Development Project (973). More than 150 academic papers were published including 52 SCI papers. Teng Ma has also published Technical Guidelines for Environmental Protection of Drinking Water Sources, Guidelines for Isotope Analysis of Groundwater Pollution and Implementation Plan for the Investigation and Evaluation of Groundwater Environmental Conditions of Drinking Water Sources of China.
