Tamika Patterson is a children's book author who currently resides in Petersburg, Virginia and will be marrying her fiancé' of 13 years in April of 2020. With her current book "Kynnedi's World," her daughter is the inspiration behind her writing. Mrs. Patterson is currently working on opening her own development center for children on the autism spectrum and those with other learning deficits. In her spare time, Mrs. Patterson enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, and traveling. Mrs. Patterson is a Licensed Qualified Mental Health Professional working with the adult and children populations. She is also a Licensed Special Education Instructor working with K-12 students who have been diagnosed with one or more mental health diagnosis. Mrs. Patterson has earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from Cambridge, College. She has earned her Master of Education degree in Psychology from Cambridge, College. She has earned her Master of Education degree in Teaching with a concentration in Special Education from Liberty University. Mrs. Patterson is currently working on her Master's in Clinical Mental Counseling to obtain her License as a Professional Counselor (LPC). Mrs. Patterson has obtained a host of certifications in professional development; specializing in counseling techniques, applied behavior analysis, classroom management and behavior, play/activity therapy, psychological aspects of the human mind, IEP and IIP development, and the like.
