Tak-Wing Ngo has held visiting positions in the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study (Wassenaar), Waseda University (Tokyo), Tsinghua University (Beijing), and Academia Sinica (Taipei). He was a Commonwealth Scholar in the United Kingdom and a Sir Edward Youde Fellow in Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Coordinating Committee for Scientific and Education Exchanges with China at the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, which is responsible for supervising all academic exchanges and research co-operations between China and the Netherlands. He is the editor of China Information, and co-editor of the NIAS Press (Copenhagen) book series on Democracy in Asia. He serves as an editorial board member for the journals "Taiwan in Comparative Perspective" (LSE) and "China Public Administrative Review" (Tsinghua). See less
