Sydney Smith has been drawing from an early age. Since graduating NSCAD University, he has illustrated numerous children's books, including Mabel Murple , Toes in my Nose , and There Were Monkeys in my Kitchen . In 2015, he was awarded the Governor General's Award among various other accolades. Originally from Nova Scotia, he now lives in Toronto with his wife and son.
