Susan McCammon, East Carolina University Susan L. McCammon, Ph.D. is Professor of Psychology at East Carolina University where she has been teaching a Psychology of Sexual Behavior course during most semesters for the past 25 years. She also teaches in the MA. Program in Clinical Psychology and is Vice-Chair of the University and Medical Center Institutional Review Board (for the protection of human subjects in research). She also directs the ECU Social Sciences Training Consortium, which is part of a national initiative to improve services for children with serious emotional problems and their families. Her professional publications include articles and book chapters on the impact of traumatic events, and the effects for trauma responders, teaching about trauma, homonegativity, and preparation of child mental health professionals. Her husband is a professor in Exercise Physiology. They have two teenage sons. See less
